Molasses Candy Recipe

molasses Candy (melcocha)

1 Cup Panocha
2 Cups Molasses
2 1/2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Tablespoon Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Aniseed

mix All Ingredients Except The Aniseed; Cook Slowly Until Sugar Is Dissolved. Next, Boil Until It Is Brittle When Dropped Into Cold Water. Pour Onto A Buttered Platter, Then Sprinkle With Aniseeds. Cool And Pull Until Stiff And Light. Twist Into Sticks And Flatten At Each End.
