Spice Cake Recipe

spice Cake (ontbijtkoek — Holland)

2 Cups Self-rising Flour
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup Molasses
1 Cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Ginger
1/2 Teaspoon Grated Nutmeg
pinch Of Salt

combine All Ingredients To A Smooth Paste. Butter An 8 X 3-inch Cake Tin. Fill With Dough And Bake For About 1 Hour At 300 Degrees F. Allow To Cool.

keep In A Tin For 24 Hours Before Serving.
