2 Pounds New Potatoes
1/4 Cup Butter Or Margarine
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
3 Tablespoons Water

heat 1 Inch Salted Water To Boiling. Add Potatoes. Heat To Boiling; Reduce Heat. Cover And Cook Until Tender, 20 To 25 Minutes; Drain.

cook And Stir Butter, Sugar And Salt In Skillet Over Medium Heat Until Mixture Starts To Turn Golden Brown. Remove From Heat; Cool Slightly.

stir In Water Until Blended. Add Potatoes. Cook Over Low Heat, Turning Potatoes To Coat With Sugar Mixture.
